Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the Aurum Atelier website and services. By browsing our site or placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms.
1. Company details and contact
Aurum Atelier is a precious metal atelier based in Zürich, Switzerland. For all contractual, legal or privacy questions you can contact us at info@aurum.swiss.
2. Scope of application
These Terms apply to all visits to our website stage.aurumatelier.ch and to all enquiries or orders placed via our digital channels. Local mandatory consumer protection rules of your place of residence remain reserved.
3. Non-binding information, no investment advice
Information on our website about materials, prices and market movements is provided for general information only. It does not constitute investment advice, tax advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any precious metal product.
4. Ordering process and conclusion of contract
Products presented on the website are an invitation to place a non-binding request. A binding contract is only formed once we have confirmed your order in writing (for example by e-mail) after a manual review of availability, compliance and anti-money-laundering requirements.
5. Prices, taxes and duties
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, prices are shown in CHF and exclude any applicable import taxes, customs duties, bank fees or local charges in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for all such additional costs.
6. Payment and security
We accept the payment methods shown during checkout. For card payments we use third-party PCI-DSS compliant payment providers. Card data is processed exclusively by these providers and is not stored in plain text on our systems.
7. Delivery, risk and inspection
We coordinate delivery individually for each order. The risk passes to you as soon as the goods are handed over to the agreed carrier or to you in person. You must inspect the goods immediately upon receipt and notify us of any defects without undue delay.
8. Right of withdrawal and returns
Due to the nature of precious metal products and potential market volatility, a statutory right of withdrawal may be limited or excluded under applicable law. Where a withdrawal or return is agreed in writing, we will specify the conditions, timing and any fees in our confirmation.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage resulting from intent and gross negligence and for personal injury in accordance with mandatory law. For slight negligence we are only liable for direct, foreseeable damage arising from a breach of essential contractual obligations. Any further liability, in particular for indirect or consequential damage, is excluded to the extent permitted by Swiss law.
10. Intellectual property
All designs, texts, images and other content on this website are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. No licence or right is granted to use any of these rights without our prior written consent.
11. Compliance, sanctions and anti-money-laundering
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders if required to do so by applicable sanctions, anti-money-laundering or know-your-customer regulations, or if we cannot adequately verify the identity or source of funds of a client.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by substantive Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory places of jurisdiction provided by applicable consumer protection law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on this website at the time of your order applies to that order. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
